Raymond Lucero, president of Ray’s Flooring Specialists, Inc. started in 1959 as a carpet helper/installer. In the years that followed, he developed his professional ism and dedication to his trade by hands-on training in every aspect of carpet installation.

In 1970, Raymond went on his own and formed Ray’s Flooring Specialists (formerly Ray’s Carpet). His first office was out of his garage where he was the salesman, estimator and installer on all his projects. During this time, Ray ventured into the commercial market by completing his first commercial project for the Jaynes Corporation in 1970.  In the early 1980′s, Raymond moved his office to 2908 Broadway NE where he shared his office with another contractor.  As his company continued to grow, this location became to small and again Ray found himself moving to a larger office at 2400 Claremont NE. By this time he was devoted to providing excellent commercial and residential installation on all types of floor covering.

Today, Ray’s Flooring Specialists, Inc. services its customers from its new 60,000 square foot office/warehouse facility. We currently employ 20 office personal and over 75 installers during our day to day operation. Ray’s number one goal is complete customer satisfaction.
