Every year we choose a local charity to benefit from the tournament as part of our ongoing commitment to give back to our community. This year we are proud to announce

The Ray and Dorothy Lucero Memorial Fund
To benefit the UNM Children’s Hospital

Donations can be made in $25, $50, and $100 increments at the registration website and will have a promotional gift available for each. Donations and raffle items will also be available at the event, please contact Patricia Ruybal at 505-975-5135 if you have any questions or would like more information.

At Coverings 2008, winners were announced for the prestigious Spectrum and Prism Awards which are awarded for “imaginative and visionary use of tile and natural stone.” Spectrum Awards are given for outstanding work in Tile and the Prism Awards are given for outstanding work in natural stone.

The Albuquerque Hispano Chamber of Commerce was elated that one of their own received such a prestigious award.
